Vending Machine Competition How To Get A Good Location?

May 27th, 2009 Posted in Información General

Hello,
I was looking into starting a small Vending machine route nothing fancy some
Quater candy machine
Beverage machine
Candy machine
How do I get a good place locator? I mean I would like to get them in places like Walmart and HEB but they are full of them.
Lets say theres a machine at 1 store and lets say the store is charging 10% of the profit. Is going in the store and talking to the manager about adding a machine and give them 15% will they throw the other machine out?
Basicly my question is by me offering more of my profit will MY MACHINES replace others peoples machines?

Study the market and be innovative. Get familiar with the equipment available and commissions being paid. To start, find smaller locations where there are no machines and build a small route. You can then approach bigger locations, demonstrate to the owner your abilities. You’ll have a better chance of getting in. You might consider sharing a location with a competitor, providing superior service and maybe paying a better commission to the location owner then gradually taking over the location. the way to the high volume locations is through submissions. Send letters expressing your interest in submitting your proposal, and ask to be notified when their current contract expires. Go one step at a time.
