    Positive - convenience, commerce.
    Negative - America is fat enough already. They don’t really have a lot of fresh fruit or yogurt i vending machines for a snack.

    Positive- it is a source of food for the student who forget to bring lunch if hot lunch is not available. You need some type of fuel to keep going during the day.
    Negative- too many processed food items, not always nutritionally sound

    well, the medical community is claiming that poor food choices are aiding the country’s problems with childhood obesity, as are fast food joints and poor eating habits at home.
    Schools are there to teach, the teaching (and learning) doesn’t stop at the abc’s. Why would the schools go out of their way to teach (and encourage) poor eating habits? So they can then cry eating disorders and obesity? I feel alot may have to do with budget cuts in school cafeterias…check into that, maybe? If children would like the junk food, bring it with them from home. Watch how many apples you see…
