You know, I dont know what the big fuss is? as long as it’s
high school, they should be allowed! its pop, and their old enough to drink it. And most of all they are paying for it!
Now, if its put into a grammer school, then the only negative thing that I can think of is, that it may make some kids jittery!
and as far as making people obese, I dont agree! I see a bunch of skinny people downing pop all the time. It all depends on what the person eats, and how much excersise that person gets. Soceity needs to stop using “Coca-cola” as their excuse for why they are fat. Believe me, its lots of other factors.
Well, good luck on ur project, I wish I could have helped u more on the negative things about vending machines in schools, but I dont see it as being soo bad.
However, if ur talking about the “snack vending machines” then, the only downfall, is that its exspensive!

Kids today are faced with too many choices. Snack bars at school, vending machines.
It empowers them and gives them the same thought-processes that make them think it’s okay for them to go to school with guns and kill their classmates because they are upset.
There. That ought to make a strong argument.

I think its absurd, When I was in School we didn’t have them. What is wrong with our Public school system nowadays ? Our kids are uneducated the schools are violent the teachers only care about the Teachers Union.

alot of times children spend their lunch money on this junk food,, instead of getting a nourishing , healthy meal.
also this food can be expensive

As long as the school vends helathy things there’s nothing really negative about them, and most schools only vend water and healthy things because of the obesity rate in america

Besides obesity they do not promote healthy eating. There isn’t anything healthy about vending machine food. They are typically for lazy people who do not pack their lunches. They contribute to diabetes because most of the foods in the vending machine are refined carbs/sugars from cookies and crackers. They also offer gum and sweet snacks which are typically not good for the body.
