For 16 years I have been involved in efforts to reduce gang violence and drug sales…I regret to say it, but many of these THUGS are now 2nd and 3rd generation criminals. It is damn near hopeless when grandma is hiding the drugs.
The only thing we have had success with is taking them out of a neighborhood through incarceration or removal of the entire family for the sins of a resident, but the masses always tend to move to another neighborhood.

I am trying to make a funny documentary, and one of the suggestions I got was to make one on a day in the life of a vending machine… that never works. I would tamper with the machine so that it doesnt give the correct product, or it never gives change or it gives too much, etc. and I would film people’s reactions. So I was wondering how I would make the vending machine not work, and simultaneously not getting in trouble :]
